JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst will work directly with internal business and technology partners from various functions and levels within the organization to help implement our data and analytics modernization roadmap.

As a member of the Enterprise Data Management team, you will assist the to team to work with managers and colleagues to gather requirements, provide status updates, and develop trusted relationships. You will collaborate closely with peers to understand our customers’ analytical needs and be able to analyze, profile and confirm corporate data sets usability from a data quality and completeness perspective. Likewise, you will work with business and technology peers to evaluate and refine our internal enterprise data management systems and metadata-driven processes to ensure data and analytic services are trustworthy, accessible, usable, and compliant.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Validate business analytical requirements for completeness and accuracy and able to use empathetic communication skills to resolve gaps and address missing details when required.
• Translate functional analytic requirements and business data use cases into technical requirements and process flow diagrams, while ensuring these requirements and process adhere to corporate compliance guidelines.
• Lead data profiling efforts to identify data quality patterns and is self-driven to trace issues back to their source and provide both business and technical data quality remediation recommendations.
• Assist in developing advanced capabilities and services to streamline and automate data quality profiling and monitoring services (e.g., Excel Macros, AI/ML routines)
• Provides feature education and training to business and technical groups to increase awareness and drive adoption of released data and analytic capabilities.
• Collaborates and participates throughout the analytical solution development lifecycle process
• Contributes to developing enterprise data and analytic practices and technology innovation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience - preferred

    Experience
    Typically 2+ years of experience in a Business or Data Analyst role in the information technology field or equivalent experience
    Experience with AWS Data Lake and Analytic Services (e.g., Glue, Redshift)
    Public company experience

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and requirements and collaborate on technical solution designs and/or project plans strongly desired
    A data-driven, analytical approach with strong critical thinking skills
    Strong Communication and collaboration skills
    Capable of working in a virtual, matrix organization
    Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
    Ability to explain ideas and technical terms clearly and concisely
    Strong experience with data wrangling, data profiling, cleansing and validation (fitness-for-use)
    Experience with writing complex SQL to query and cross-verify data sets
    Proven experience using Python to perform and optimize data analysis, including the using AI/ML libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn)
    Proficient in Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), Confluence and Jira
    Experience with Analytical Reporting Services (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot)

Travel Requirements

Minimal

The salary range for this role is $60,600 to $123,700. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
