This role is office-based and you need to be located in Melbourne Australia. You will report to the Sr. Regional Offices Manager - APAC & EMEA, based in India.

Our Workplace Experience team is a 3D billboard for our values, and we create an environment where Atlassians can choose their own journey.

As the Workplace Experience Manager, your first priority is proactively optimising connection opportunities amongst teams, work friends, and our culture. Your secondary priority is to ensure that our offices are a place where Atlassians can "GSD" whenever they choose to visit our offices.

Responsibilities

As the ideal Workplace Experience Site lead, your first priority is to own an exceptional hospitality-led, event-driven, continuously improving office experience every day that connects us to each other and helps us get things done.

You excel as a communicator and influencer, boasting a proven track record of driving change that prioritizes the customer experience.

You drive continuous improvement using data and customer sentiment. You are confident engaging with the customer and enjoy representing the broader workplace team.

  • You can pinpoint when customer journeys are suboptimal and can effectively drive solutions from inception to implementation.

  • You have a multipier effect. You use you’re influence to help team mates and vendor partners to solve problems that drive improvement outcomes that are aligned customer promise and business priorities.

You recognize the importance of the physical workplace and its impact on employee engagement and productivity.

In this role, you will:

  • Continuous Improvement: Develop proposals and lead projects to deliver customer promises and business priorities.

  • In-Office Experience: Act as a point of escalation for any issues in your office

  • Act as Budget Custodian: Manage budgets for food & drink, kudos, and staff wellness programs.

  • Drive Office Value: Create action plans to meet business targets for cost, occupancy, and connection.

  • Accelerate Atlassian Onboarding: Deliver New Hire onboarding in your geography.

  • Improve Customer Journeys: Walk in the shoes of your customers to anticipate future needs and propose improvements.

  • Food & Drinks Service: Partner with our catering vendor to ensure a quality daily dining program for Atlassians and visitors.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in program and portfolio management

  • Experience is Food & Beverage services is essential

  • Experience building strategy based on vision and goals, turning a strategy into executable plans, and driving high visibility and complex projects

  • An analytic rigor, drive to support decisions with data, and the ability to make data digestible to varied audiences (big data, financial models, etc.)

  • Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving their Workplace

  • Experience to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great

It's great if you have:

  • A well-developed network of contacts in the employee experience and customer service industries

You'll be joining the Workplace Experience team with programs that work to serve every Atlassian. As Workplace Managers, we build trusted networks, seek clarity, and serve as the drivers and the glue to ensure teams deliver on complex, cross-functional programs.
