Jira Frontier’s Wall to Wall Team

Role Overview

The Senior Product Designer will play a critical role in shaping the design strategy and execution for Jira's Wall to Wall team. This team focuses on expanding Jira's capabilities to non-technical teams (like Marketing, HR, Design) and enhancing the product's appeal to business teams. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and fill product gaps, improve onboarding experiences, and ensure Jira's competitive positioning in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create user-centric designs that align with Jira's strategic goals.

• Lead design projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and consistent user experiences.

• Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.

• Develop and maintain prototypes and patterns that enhance the scalability and consistency of Jira's user interface.

• Engage with enterprise customers and sales teams to gather insights and feedback to inform design improvements.

Qualifications

• Several (5+yrs) years of professional product design experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software environments.

• Strong experience in experimentation and/or working as part of a growth team.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma

• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts and decisions.

Desired Skills

• Experience with motion design and prototyping tools like ProtoPie.

• Familiarity with behavioral economics and psychology to enhance user engagement.

• Ability to conduct and apply user research and testing to inform design decisions.
