Reegan McAvaney

I've spent more than 10 years at the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority improving client, digital and organisational services through service design, innovation and continuous improvement. I turn research and stakeholder insights into practical changes that improve experiences for clients and colleagues.

As an Innovation Analyst, I developed and delivered an Innovation Roadshow across 14 business areas, built VMIA's Innovation Toolkit and Community of Practice, and facilitate teams through problem framing, research, testing and validation. Previously, I led end-to-end service design initiatives, including the Victorian Government Cyber Security Benchmark and UX improvements to the Online Self-Assessment Hub.

Outside VMIA, I founded Cow Cat Creations, where I design knitting patterns and hand-dyed yarn products, using client feedback and sales insights to continually refine what I create.
