We're a team of product people passionate about building quality software that solves real-world business problems. Our journey began when we, Giovanni and Karolis, left our previous roles to start our own venture. We quickly became frustrated with the existing HR software landscape. The tools available were clunky, unintuitive, and lacked the design craft we believe is essential for a great user experience. It seemed that even the most basic actions were difficult to perform. We wondered if this was just our perception, so we reached out to People and HR leaders in fast-growing companies to learn from their experiences. It turned out our frustrations were widely shared. The same problems came up again and again.

This realization inspired us to build Humaans. We set out to create a people management system that we would want to use to scale our own company. We believe in velocity and automation, as they free up time for creativity and strategic thinking, rather than getting bogged down in manual, repetitive tasks. Humaans is a reflection of this ethos, applied to the world of People Operations and Human Resources. We designed it to work straight out of the box, with no complex onboarding or training required. Our goal is to give you back your time so you can focus on what truly matters: your people and growing your business. We're building a new kind of employee management platform designed to help People Ops, Finance, and IT teams collaborate seamlessly. By connecting the best-in-class point solutions that companies want for their staff while maintaining a central hub of employee data, we're automating the entire employment lifecycle. We're turning complex processes like onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and compensation management into simple, elegant workflows. We are excited to be building a well-crafted product that not only drives value for the entire organization but also bridges the gap between sophisticated business tools and the elegant consumer experiences we've all come to expect.
