Backend Engineer, Node.js/Typescript

Deel is the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, and we're looking for a Backend Engineer to help us create seamless experiences, develop robust new features, and ensure top-tier products and services.

Requirements

• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript best practices
• Experience in at least one other server-side language
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience in designing systems for scalability
• Proven expertise in optimizing systems for large transaction volumes
• Ability to communicate complex ideas easily
• Experience in SaaS products running 24/7 on major cloud vendors
• Familiarity with serverless architecture on AWS
• Understanding of the Fintech Industry and its unique challenges
