Back-End Engineer, AI

As a Backend Engineer, AI, you will play a critical role in shipping features faster while maintaining quality and reliability, leveraging AI tools like Claude to accelerate development workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend/Software Engineer
• Experience developing with NodeJS or Python
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL fundamentals, particularly with PostgreSQL and ORM libraries
• Demonstrated experience shipping real products using Claude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong remote collaboration skills
• Ability to follow Deel's standards for code review, testing, deployment, and operational responsibility
• Understanding of information security and commitment to protecting the organization's security and information assets
