My career in IT project management went through three roles with different scopes. As PMO Lead I controlled three key milliondollar investment projects in the Technology and Digital Transformation Division of Banco Ripley: financial evaluation, tracking of scope, schedule and budget deviations, and progress reporting to senior management. Later, in the same bank, I became Head of Initiative and Vendor Control (PMO Manager) and took over the bank's full IT portfolio, with a team of six people, the budget control model for every strategic initiative, executive reporting and the management of close to 100 vendors. As a Project Manager I own the full project life cycle, in traditional or agile methodologies: from the idea and the make or buy evaluation (build in-house or buy a market solution), through requirements gathering, to the product delivered and running. That is how I led the new version of the MiCopiloto app, with more than one million registered users, the new enex.cl corporate website and the implementation of the recruiting module of SAP SuccessFactors. I coordinate technical teams and vendors, control scope, schedule, budget, risks and dependencies, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (QA), and manage the golive so the change reaches the user without surprises. I use artificial intelligence (AI) day to day to shorten the path between a requirement and something that can already be tested. I work in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
