What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an IT support role where I can troubleshoot user, access, hardware, software, and network issues while continuing to grow in systems administration and cybersecurity.

I am a U.S. citizen and adaptable professional with experience across education, mental health, customer service, HR, recruitment, operations, and team leadership. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Global Health from the University of California, San Diego, associate degrees in Psychology and Social Work/Behavioral Science, a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification, and the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) credential.

For the past eight years, I have taught English, science, social studies, and ESL to students from kindergarten through high school. My current work focuses on secondary English, where I create lessons and assessments, communicate clearly with students and colleagues from different backgrounds, manage classrooms, and solve problems calmly in real time. Teaching has strengthened the same skills that matter in remote work: explaining complex information simply, staying organized, handling competing priorities, and building trust quickly.

Before teaching, I spent more than seven years in mental health and social services as a therapist, case manager, crisis-support professional, and supervisor. I supported clients and families through difficult situations, managed sensitive information, documented services accurately, and supervised a team of 13 therapists. That work required empathy, sound judgment, confidentiality, de-escalation, and the ability to communicate with people who may be frustrated, confused, or under pressure.

I also bring experience in HR, recruitment, onboarding, data entry, project coordination, and high-volume customer service. In a call-center role, I handled roughly 150 calls per day, which taught me how to stay professional, efficient, and solution-focused at a fast pace. Across my career, I have worked with records, scheduling, reporting, client communication, training, and process coordination.

I am especially interested in remote customer support, IT support/help desk, operations, onboarding, customer success, recruitment coordination, and administrative roles. I enjoy solving problems, learning new systems, improving processes, and helping people get clear answers. I am reliable, calm under pressure, highly communicative, and motivated by roles where strong service and practical problem-solving make a real difference.
