I’m applying for the Account Manager role because I’ve spent ten years doing the same core work: owning an existing customer book and growing it through annual renewals, expansion, and negotiation. As an account executive at Giant Bicycles, I grew a four-state territory of about 50 accounts from $3.9M to $7.7M by renewing every contract annually, securing preseason commitments representing 40–50% of our goal, and expanding the relationship across the year while managing 50 account timelines in parallel.

I also grew beyond retention by winning accounts from competitors—building relationships with Trek and Specialized dealers before I earned their business, then bringing them over when their situation changed. While my background is outside traditional B2B SaaS, I’m comfortable learning complex systems, working inside CRMs and enterprise order platforms, and translating product value into practical customer outcomes. I’d ramp deliberately on Knock’s product, customers, and metrics like ARR, churn, and NRR, bringing the organization, renewal discipline, and trust-first negotiation that keep accounts successful and growing over time.
