How does the AI headshot generator work?
The process has three steps:
- Upload training photos: You upload a batch of photos of yourself. These are used to teach the AI what you look like.
- AI trains on your face: The AI builds a personal model based on your photos. This takes a few minutes.
- Headshots are generated: Once training is complete, the AI generates a set of professional headshots featuring your face in different styles.
The result is a collection of headshots that look like you, but with professional lighting, outfits, and backgrounds that you may not have in your own photos.
What kind of variety do I get in my headshots?
Your generated headshots include variation across several dimensions:
- Outfits: The AI generates you wearing different professional clothing (suits, blazers, casual-professional attire, etc.)
- Backgrounds: Different settings including solid colors, office environments, outdoor spaces, and studio-style backdrops
- Lighting: Varied lighting setups including natural light, studio lighting, and soft ambient light

Do the headshots all look the same?
No. While your face remains consistent (so people can recognize you), each headshot varies in outfit, background, lighting, and angle. That said, your facial expression will stay relatively similar across a batch if your training photos all have the same expression. See the next section for how to control this.
How do facial expressions work?
The AI tends to mirror the expressions it sees in your training photos. For example:
- Mostly smiling photos → Your headshots will likely feature smiling expressions
- Mostly serious/neutral photos → Your headshots will lean toward a more professional, composed look
- A mix of expressions → You'll tend to get a variety of smiling and serious results
For the most variety, include a range of expressions in your training photos.
Can I retrain the AI with different photos?
Yes. You can delete your training photos and upload a new batch once per month. When you retrain:
- Your previous training data is replaced
- The AI builds a new model from your new photos
- A fresh set of headshots is generated based on the new training
This is useful if you want to try different expressions, a new hairstyle, or if you weren't happy with the first set of results.
What photos should I upload for best results?
Photo requirements:
- Upload at least 10–15 photos for best results
- Use clear, well-lit photos where your face is clearly visible
- Include a variety of angles (straight-on, slight left turn, slight right turn)
- Use recent photos that accurately represent your current appearance
