We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Centralized Services Engineer to manage, automate, and enhance IT systems and tools that support efficient service delivery. This role is key to improving operational performance, reducing reactive support needs, and ensuring consistent, high-quality IT service across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong scripting capabilities, hands-on experience with remote monitoring tools, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and system optimization.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee centralized management of IT services to improve efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and support business growth
- Manage and optimize tools such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software, backup systems, antivirus, email spam filtering, cybersecurity tools, and PSA platforms
- Automate routine processes using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) to reduce reactive support and improve operational performance
- Deploy and maintain monitoring agents across systems to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with service desks, technical teams, and clients to enhance technology alignment and service delivery
- Identify problem trends through ticket analysis and automate issue resolution
- Track and report KPIs, ensure documentation accuracy, and regularly review tool performance
- Serve as an escalation point for complex support tickets and provide internal training on tool effectiveness
- Support cross-functional initiatives and participate in company culture-building activities

Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT operations and centralized services
- Past experience working in an MSP environment.
- Proficiency in RMM software, backup and antivirus solutions, and cybersecurity tools
- Advanced scripting skills, especially PowerShell, for automation of IT tasks
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Nice-To-Have Requirements
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE), or ITIL Foundation
- Experience with vendor management and KPI tracking
- Familiarity with documentation and knowledge management best practices
- Experience in project management tools
