TMSenior Software Engineer (Non-US/Remote)

We are looking for applicants with experience in both javascript and python, and familiarity with cloud architecture, microservices, async and data streaming concepts using tech such as Eventbridge, Kafka, Databricks, Airflow, etc.
We primarily use React, Next.js, Typescript for our front end applications, with FastAPI, Django, Python, Node, AWS, and PostgreSQL for the services and other applications. We also rely on Docker, CircleCI, and Github for our workflow.
We work remotely and are looking for teammates who can work primarily during our business hours of 9-6pm (GMT-5).
Job functions
-You will work closely with technical and product team members in an iterative, scrum-based process for features and products.-You’ll build new features that millions of users will see and love. -You’ll be working with the team to release modern, lean, well-built web applications that grow and improve every day.-You’ll be a driver of best practices and product iterations.-You will champion site performance both in actual and perceived speed. This includes both API performance as well as front end best practices.
Qualifications and requirements
-You have 5+ years of professional experience.-You design and build scalable solutions with javascript and python, particularly leveraging frameworks such as React, FastAPI, and Django.-You have confidence in your work and are secure in shipping to production frequently. Continuous integration, automated deployments, and monitoring and alerting are all part of your day-to-day.-You understand and practice clean code principles, such as SOLID, DRY, and YAGNI, and how to apply them to the problems at hand.-Everyone loves a green field, and you’ll get that too. But code can rot, so we all pitch in to weed tech debt out of the garden.-You love data-driven development. Pushing the needle on a metric makes you smile.
