About the role:

In this role you will be accountable for:

Leading a significant breath of the people and culture function, by adding to the strategic vision and executing contemporary strategies to position the organisation as an employer of choice. Key areas include business partnering, operations, organisational development and capability, workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations, data, reporting, and insights, learning, and risk.

You will lead a large team and you will be accountable for delivering success in these portfolios. You will be responsible for contributing to a continuous improvement culture, whilst focusing on the engagement of your team, building capability, and coaching for success.

In this role you will be a significant contributor to the organisational growth and change agenda. You will manage and embed change by leading delivery of a broad spectrum of people & culture (P&C) initiatives to grow business performance.

To be successful in this role, you will be a high achiever who will:

  • Continually review (and identify) both current and new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimising business risk.
  • Implement and facilitate plans to enhance workforce efficiency to maximise organisational performance as well as addressing workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning in critical roles and skills development needs to enable our people to excel.
  • Shape the agenda and accelerate organisational performance in the areas of employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, learning & development, capability, and reward.
  • Bring significant experience and a track record of building a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Connect our team journey into our customer experience and build a culture of customer centricity. You will link all areas of our people agenda to people, process, and technology.
  • Ability to take concept and framework in practical and meaningful delivery, managing team and stakeholder buy in and ensuring impact.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders on strategic, complex decision-making.
  • Commercial focus and understanding, driving solutions that meet organisational objectives.
  • People enablement – ability to empower individuals towards a common goal, driving clarity and accountability.

Requirements

About You:

  • We are seeking interest from suitably experienced and qualified People and Culture professions with a degree in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • These qualifications will be complimented by at least 5 years of experience in senior People and Culture leadership roles, with a proven track record in leading strategic culture or organisational development initiatives and overseeing all facets of the P&C function.
  • You have a growth mindset. You're interested in asking questions to challenge our thinking and love new ideas.
  • You're curious about and able to put yourself in the others’ shoes; you earn and value trust.
  • You thrive on operating at a strategic level as well as diving into the detail and operational activity. You have a proven track record of delivering performance and bring a problem-solving mentality.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • You are seen as a leader who engages and inspires others.
