We are seeking an HR Projects Specialist with a keen interest in leading the people aspect of M&A integrations. The role would suit a seasoned HR Business Partner or HR Projects expert with knowledge handling various aspects of industrial relations, including but not limited to negotiations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
The role works alongside a fellow C&C specialist within our growing transformation team, with new and exciting challenges and varied projects. We are looking for natural problem solvers who are comfortable taking initiative and passionate about transformative change.
Applicants will be accepted from Victoria, New South Wales or Tasmania. This role will require frequent travel to Respect sites, including temporary relocation for short-term periods.

The Position:
This HR Projects Specialist requires a proactive and strategic mindset, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor and resource for employees and management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on matters related to industrial relations.
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and other relevant departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote fairness and compliance.
- Represent the organization in negotiations with unions or employee representatives.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Develop comprehensive reports outlining the identified gaps and recommended solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support with workplace relations matters and processes.
- Create and implement strategies and initiatives to address the identified gaps and enhance the people and culture function at the newly acquired site.
- Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to ensure a successful transformation.
- Implement people related policies, systems and structures.
- Facilitate training and awareness initiatives specific to each site.
- Consult with staff regarding the implementation of Respect's site structure, roster structure and ways of working.
- Develop and deliver engaging workshops and training sessions on people related changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create effective communication channels for sharing information, updates, and promoting a positive culture.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and employee engagement.
