Professional Services Project/Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Management:
• Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
• Create and manage long-term goals, budgets, and operating plans for programs.
• Develop evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
• Write program funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted delivery of services.
• Project Management:
• Oversee network IT implementation projects from initial kickoff to completion.
• Operate as the Single Point of Contact between the customer and project staff.
• Establish and maintain project communications with customers and superiors throughout the implementation.
• Coordinate and oversee onsite resources towards delivery to system acceptance.
• Create and maintain overall project plans, including Wi-Fi implementation and wired/software/backend implementation projects.
• Oversee project estimations and the development of project deliverables.
• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with construction and cabling subcontractors on deliverables.
• Manage staging, testing, and quality control throughout the project.
• Facilitate internal communications between project team members.
• Set up weekly/bi-weekly project status meetings and supply meeting minutes.
• Maintain document repository for the project team.
• Identify, document, and manage project issues.
• Ensure adherence to project quality and performance standards.
• Assess and manage risk over the project lifecycle.
• Control all project-related documents throughout the entire project.
• Gather and provide final documentation to the customer at project completion.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Meet with stakeholders to ensure easy and transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions on services.
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle.
• Analyze program risks and work on strategy with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, services, and operations.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, OneNote, and Teams.
• Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other applications such as Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Knowledge of networking principles and technologies.
• Understanding of cloud computing and related technologies.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field.
• +20 years of experience in managing enterprise programs and various rollouts in the technology industry.
• Experience with global enterprise deployments in the technology field.
• Understanding of networking principles.
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• +5 years of experience in managing network infrastructure implementation projects of similar size.
