What will you be doing?

Circana is seeking an accounting intern to join our team within the headquarter controller group. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

As a key contributor to Circana controller group, you will manage and support various projects and tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in accounting in a professional setting. The role is approximately 25 hours per week; weekdays. Some main responsibilities include:

• Manage travel and expense related mailbox.
• Resolve exception processing for travel and expense reports.
• Compile reporting for travel/expense and Coupa for management review.
• Review new vendor setups.
• Other tasks as directed by supervisor, for special projects.

Requirements

• High degree of accuracy and attention to details and deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to manage projects to timely completion.

Education

• Under-graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $20 - 25/ hour.
