We are Renaissance, a global leader in education technology, dedicated to our mission of accelerating learning for all. Since our founding in 1986 by Judi and Terry Paul, we've believed that technology can play a vital role in supporting education. It all started in their basement in Port Edwards, Wisconsin, when Judi developed Accelerated Reader to encourage her own children to read more. From that humble beginning, we've grown into a company that serves educators and students worldwide. Today, our solutions are used in over one-third of U.S. schools and in more than 100 countries across six continents.

Our commitment is to empower teachers and inspire students. We believe that every child can be a successful learner and that educators are the catalysts for those 'aha!' moments in the classroom. That's why we develop innovative solutions like Accelerated Reader, Star Assessments, myON, Freckle, and Nearpod to provide data-driven insights and personalized learning experiences.
