Vanessa Billops

I’ve spent more than 15 years building my career in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, and along the way I discovered that what I enjoy most is leading people and building strong operations.

Today, I’m an operations and sales leader with experience across hospitality, wellness, beauty, and live-event environments. I’ve led teams, managed day-to-day business operations, developed employees and managers, driven sales, monitored KPIs, handled staffing and scheduling, and worked through the many challenges that come with running a customer-facing business.

In my current role, I’ve achieved a 34% membership conversion rate, ranking #1 in my region, led my location to nearly $120K in annual gift card sales, and helped drive consistent membership growth. I also serve as a training resource across five locations, supporting the development of managers, assistant managers, and frontline team members.

I’m a very hands-on leader. I believe in being present with my team, setting clear expectations, recognizing great work, addressing problems directly, and creating an environment where people understand both what is expected of them and why it matters.

Sales and operations come naturally to me, but developing people is one of the parts of leadership I enjoy most. There is something incredibly rewarding about watching someone gain confidence, improve their performance, and eventually become a leader themselves.

I’m continuing to build a career that challenges me, expands the scale of what I lead, and gives me opportunities to make a measurable impact on both people and business performance.
