What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a role where I can support healthcare operations through patient coordination, scheduling, documentation, insurance verification, and bilingual communication while continuing to apply my research and data-analysis background.

I've supported Horizon Therapy Services, a California outpatient rehabilitation provider, by coordinating patient referrals, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, documentation, billing data entry, and virtual front-desk coverage.

I maintain patient records in InsightGO EMR and work with therapists to complete clinical notes and documentation packets.

At SEFIEM, I've led and taught research methodology, data analysis, and interpretation, making biomedical and data-science concepts accessible across experience levels. I've also coordinated events, calendars, conferences, webinars, and workshops for the medical community.

I'm a Venezuelan-trained physician who graduated Magna Cum Laude and has co-authored six peer-reviewed publications in international journals. I work fluently in English and Spanish and bring experience translating medical research between both languages.
