About the JobAs a Community Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring

Zyte’s developer community on Discord thrives. You'll work closely with our marketing team and

Developer Advocate to maintain an active and welcoming environment. This position requires a

background in computer science and a passion for engaging with developer communities.

The role is offered as a 6-month contract.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Welcome new members and guide navigating the Discord server.
• Actively moderate discussions on coding help, Zyte API, web scraping, AI in web

scraping, and other relevant topics.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute community-focused initiatives,

such as newsletters, events, and workshops.

• Facilitate conversations in developer forums, moderate conversations and provide

support on web scraping and related topics.

• Facilitate discussions and encourage participation among community members.
• Curate relevant content and initiate conversations to keep the community engaged and

informed.

• Work closely with the Developer Advocate to address community needs and ensure

alignment with company goals.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science or a related field.
• Understanding of web scraping concepts and AI technologies is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with developer forums and online communities.
• Proactive attitude and a passion for community building.
