Purpose and Scope:

The Account Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with travel, working with administrative and executive level contacts, and public speaking. The Account Manager will work closely with regional customers, Account Executives (AE), and executive management to maintain existing business and increase sales of products/services.

Responsibilities:

The Account Manager reports to the Director of Sales. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.

  • Conduct regular check‑ins, business reviews, and onsite or virtual meetings to understand client needs and proactively address issues.

  • Serve as a trusted partner and primary point of contact, ensuring clients receive timely support and solutions that align with business goals.

  • Support Sales Leadership by coordinating activities, preparing insights, and ensuring effective execution of sales initiatives.

  • Document and manage daily sales activities in Salesforce.com, ensuring accurate tracking of pipeline movement, client interactions, and follow-up actions.

  • Stay deeply connected to clients and market trends to provide actionable feedback that informs marketing, product strategy, client support, and operational improvements that strengthen our competitive edge.

  • Represent the sales organization at national conferences, key client meetings, and industry events, serving as a knowledgeable and professional ambassador for our brand.

  • Engage with customers to understand their evolving needs, challenges, and priorities, ensuring we deliver solutions that align with their goals.

  • Qualify and route new opportunities to the appropriate AE to support timely development and closure of deals.

  • Conduct account research, identify key stakeholders, and generate interest through targeted outreach and meaningful engagement.

  • Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of prospects, ensuring accurate, organized, and up-to-date records within CRM systems.

  • Leverage customer insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new product development, based on recurring needs or emerging trends.

  • Stay current on organizational updates, industry developments, and new technologies to ensure informed conversations with clients and alignment with market direction.

  • Actively study and assess customer behaviors and business models to uncover unmet needs, strengthen relationships, and drive new sales opportunities.

Experience and Required Skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience in account management or sales within the insurance, claims MSP compliance ecosystem, with hands‑on exposure to supporting clients, interpreting regulatory or Section 111 reporting processes, or partnering with carriers/TPAs to deliver compliance‑focused solutions.

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, consistently ensuring all client information, sales activities, and documentation in systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office are maintained with precision.

  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite — including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—with the ability to prepare polished presentations, organize data, and communicate effectively across teams.

  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism, demonstrating sound judgment, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and trust in all client and team interactions.

  • Collaborative mindsetwith the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment, partnering closely with Sales Leadership, AEs, and cross-functional teams to support customer needs and operational priorities.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and keep sales activities accurately documented and on track.

  • Outstanding communication, decision-making, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, enabling clear client conversations, confident handling of inquiries, and effective representation of the sales organization at meetings and events.
