Senior Software Quality Engineer - OpenShift Virtualization DevOps Team

• Manage and maintain the test infrastructure and hardware to ensure seamless operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues proactively to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Create and share release plans in alignment with stakeholders.
• Coordinate hardware requirements and ensure proper resource allocation.
• Collaborate with component teams to review and refine test jobs for relevance across release streams.
• Maintain automated test jobs to ensure quality assurance best practices.
• Maintain high-quality standards and support the team’s CI/CD initiatives.

• Proven experience in managing test infrastructures and hardware in cloud-based environments.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Red Hat Openshift
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test management platforms.
• Proficiency in coding/scripting and automation tools (Python/Golang is preferred) to build and maintain robust processes.
• Exceptional communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to align and coordinate with component teams to ensure product goals are met.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Capacity to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with public cloud providers like Azure, GCP, AWS, Oracle cloud.
