What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing and maintaining server-side logic using Core PHP scripting language.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Writing clean, efficient, and secure PHP code following coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing PHP code base, ensuring smooth operation of web applications.
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to project requirements.
- Developing and optimizing SQL stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Documenting technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborating with Statistical Consultants, Data Analysts, Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in developing dynamic web applications using Core PHP.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data manipulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with other front-end technologies such as jQuery, CSS, and IIS are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
