SQA Engineer

Client Company Introduction:

We are hiring for a UK based product design consultancy that specializes in using NoCode platforms.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have experience in software testing for a variety of software products and a strong willingness to adapt and learn. This role will involve both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications, with opportunities to grow into advanced automation and test strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, design, and document test cases based on product requirements and specifications

• Perform manual testing of primarily web applications (occasionally mobile)

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality

• Understand and apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts

• Contribute to the development of test plans, test strategies, and test reports

• Apply various testing techniques including unit, regression, exploratory, smoke, integration, and usability testing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• 1-2 years of experience working full-time hands on in a QA or software testing role

• Knowledge of manual testing methodologies and testing tools

• Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress

• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes

• Ability to write clear and concise test cases, test scripts, and bug reports

• Analytical mindset and attention to detail

• Experience with version control systems like Git

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Only graduates with 3+ CGPA from top tier universities are encouraged to apply.
