Overview

Were looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Web Developer to help build and maintain modern web applications and marketing platforms. You'll work across both modern JavaScript frameworks and existing production systems, implementing features, integrations, and improvements across frontend and backend systems.

Many projects use modern headless architectures, while some platforms require working directly with HTML templates, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript within CMS or platform interfaces (similar to Shopify environments). The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both modern and legacy environments.

While some projects involve CMS or templated platforms, the role is not focused on WordPress theme or page-builder development and requires strong experience writing production JavaScript and building application features.

This role is fully remote and highly collaborative with product, design, and engineering teams.

Development Approach

This role focuses on custom application development and engineering-driven websites, not theme configuration or page-builder development.

You will be writing and maintaining production code using JavaScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, while also supporting some platforms where templates and scripts are edited directly within CMS or platform interfaces.

Experience with both modern frameworks and traditional web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery templating) is important.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features across Next.js and React applications, connecting frontend components with backend APIs and services.
  • Develop and maintain CMS-driven websites and components, working with Storyblok or similar headless CMS platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance platform-based websites where templates, styles, and scripts are edited directly through CMS or platform interfaces.
  • Work with vanilla JavaScript and jQuery when maintaining legacy codebases or marketing platforms.
  • Implement and maintain integrations including Stripe payments, email platforms, and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure responsive, mobile-first development and perform cross-browser / cross-device testing.
  • Assist with database queries and schema updates using Prisma.
  • Debug production issues and improve reliability, performance, accessibility, and SEO metadata.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior engineers to deliver polished UI/UX.
  • Develop and implement marketing assets for platforms including SFMC, Mailchimp, and Campaign Monitor.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience with JavaScript and modern web development.
  • Experience building applications using React and/or Next.js.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive development, and SCSS/Sass.
  • Experience maintaining legacy frontend systems using vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience working with templating systems such as Liquid or similar technologies.
  • Comfortable working in environments where code is edited directly within CMS or platform interfaces.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.

  • Experience with Webpack, Gulp, or similar build tooling.

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience implementing cross-browser compatible interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and modern development practices.
  • Experience working with Figma design files.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Prisma schema design and database migrations.
  • Experience implementing secure server-side integrations with Stripe or authentication providers.
  • Experience designing scalable content models within headless CMS platforms.
  • Experience working with background jobs or queue systems.
  • Experience with GSAP or advanced frontend animation tooling.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure.
