The Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for proactively prospecting targeted accounts in a geographic area and industry to generate sales qualified leads. Your mission is to uncover interest in HICX in a defined territory, with the goal of setting discovery meetings with regional sales managers.

These meetings need to generate new opportunities and contribute to building sales pipeline, as new logo customers for HICX.

Additionally, the Senior Business Development Representative needs to shave command of a strong prospecting process and exceptional documentation/communication of activities through SFDC, Outreach and Outlook.

You’ll directly engage with prospects to identify challenge that sells enterprise software solutions across the company’s products to drive opportunities.

Nurture relationships and qualifying the interest in our solution from the market. Work with sales directors and presales consultants and develop strategies to best meet client interests.

Supporting sales directors in qualifying accounts through the sales cycle with ongoing marketing activities and building broader and deeper relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in conversations with the prospect to uncover challenges in their supplier management and supplier experience
  • Create opportunities within prospects by illustrating areas for improvement, optimisation or automation.
  • Utilize Pre-Call Planning methods to understand the Prospect and what challenge they have that HICX can solve.
  • Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts providing value while aggressively targeting accounts within specific Industries that HICX has identified.
  • Work through ‘Gatekeepers’ gaining access to the relevant person/s in the prospective organisation hierarchy while understanding where the decision makers are located.
  • Understand the functional competitive advantages of the HICX solution and customise messaging to gain traction into accounts.
  • High level of communication, via outbound calling, email, and social media to engage prospects in order to further qualify as a valid sales opportunity.
  • Maintain relationship with assigned group of Target Accounts and develop value into working with HICX.
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover needs, learn more about the prospect, and better qualify.
  • Keep accurate electronic records of calls and contacts and update prospect status within contact management application.
  • Communicate internally the status of all outreach and set meetings.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years experience in tech/SaaS sales development and/or recruitment
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a track record of producing high-quality sequences with a solid framework
  • Familiarity with lead generation strategies is advantageous
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to win
  • Collaborative team player with adept project management skills
  • Determination to turn aspirations into achievements
  • Authenticity and a positive mindset
  • Commitment to personal growth and development
  • 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, inside sales, software sales or recuitment experience
  • Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to quickly gain and demonstrate a high level of understanding of HICX and it's Application benefits
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific emphasis on telephone skills.
  • Experience with Contact Management Sysytem, CRM, MSOffice365,
  • Native or bilingual level of English
