The Front Brand Team is hiring an Art Director to bring moments of “wow” to life with inspiring and word-class design. This role will lead creative on high-impact and high-visibility projects that will drive the brand (and business) forward. We’re looking for someone who is able to see the bigger picture of what a brand can be but who will also sweat the nitty gritty details required of impeccable design. We’re looking for someone who can inspire the team with a moodboard or mockup, and then ship beautiful work across a wide range of touchpoints. The Art Director will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders and will report directly to our Head of Brand.
What will you do?
- Set a new standard of craft and execute impeccable design work across touchpoints
- Work directly with our Head of Brand to evolve and elevate Front’s visual identity
- Lead the charge to strategically refresh and extend our visual identity, including product storytelling, illustration, animation, photography, and video
- Help lead the creative process–from concept all the way to launch–on big brand campaigns that stand out and drive huge business impact
- Design impeccable assets across channels and touchpoints: from web pages to billboards to stunning customer swag
- Partner closely with the dev team to launch and maintain a best-in-class web experience
- Present creative work to key stakeholders and surprise and delight with top-notch visual storytelling and presentations
- Mentor more junior designers with strategic and inspiring feedback
What skills & experience do you need?
- 7+ years of in-house or agency design experience with a diverse portfolio of work
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC
- Solid experience in motion design and illustration (in execution and/or art direction)
- A strong understanding of brand strategy and how to incorporate it into their work
- A strategic design systems mindset, i.e. an understanding of how to thoughtfully push a brand forward while maintaining consistency
- Excellent communication and feedback skills
- An understanding of what great looks like…and how to bring it to life
Zone 2: $133,500 - $162,700Zone 3: $126,100 - $153,700
Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. At Front, we take a market-based approach to pay. In addition to cash compensation (base salary, which may include commissions or overtime pay where applicable), Fronteers are eligible to receive equity in the company.
