What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts within the Client Development vertical and the advertiser agencies that support them. You will help define Circana’s overall approach and focus on the work with its strategic clients in the Client Development vertical and on a specific book of business. This individual will lead client third-party media measurement and audience activation for major CPG companies as a true business partner and valued consultant. This employee will create strategies and programs to help large CPG advertisers increase their return on ad spend, sales lift, and other KPIs. Lastly, this team member will partner across key internal partners and functions within Agency buyer and planner communities and ad network partners including sales and research to establish Circana’s brand and drive revenue opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working knowledge of current trends in the Marketing, Customer Relationship Marketing, Online Marketing, Market Research and CPG Industry, including data sources (traditional panel, on-line access panels, client proprietary panels, retailer frequent shopper data, other customer-level databases, etc.) that will be the foundation to drive actionable insights.
  • Present to internal and external c-suite and senior leadership results of business drivers.
  • Facilitate product development through links to Circana's commercialization partners in the development of customized solutions to meet the clients' needs.
  • Scope client issues within a clear analytical framework and roadmap to the prospective client
  • Develop feasibility, pricing, and timing for proposals via internal approval processes and external proposal closure.
  • Provide the final presentation of insights and strategic recommendation(s) to clients.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience including deep domain knowledge of media, with preferred experience in Food & Beverage verticals. 
  • Consultative and strategic selling skills, inclusive of disciplined pipeline management; experience or capacity to call, own and deliver against a number; business plan/client penetration development and execution; strong influencing skills.
  • Client Management and Value Acumen: Manage client projects and relationships, often through collaboration with a wide array of cross-functional associates.
  • Business Insights/Consulting Expertise: Provides clear, deep perceptions & recommendations regarding decisions, situations & business benefits.
  • Sales Strategy Development/Competitive Intelligence Expertise: Identify accounts and opportunities to go after.
  • Creative Problem Solving Skills: Identify information and gaps, and subsequently develop (and broadly share) information to bridge these gaps thus facilitating high performance across the team and improve client relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing activities based on levels of sales opportunities. 
  • Experience developing strategies to expand services and penetrate client organizations based on gaining knowledge of client pain points and anticipating potential emerging business issues. 
  • Proven experience collaborating/partnering cross-functionally to achieve sales results.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% .

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA. Strong preference for Chicago or NYC.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $145,000.00 - $170,000.00.

This job is also eligible for bonus] pay.
