Aftermarket Business Planning and Support Analyst (INTERNAL ROLE) (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Location: Home Based – With frequent travel to UK sites

As our Aftermarket Business Planning and Support Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our operations, driving critical functions across parts and service divisions. From crafting business cases to managing projects seamlessly, you'll be the linchpin of our success. Dive deep into aftermarket business intelligence, master tender pricing strategies, and provide invaluable support to sales territories and channels. Main responsibilities:

  • Aftermarket Business Planning – to support development of aftermarket long range plan (LRP - Parts and Service).
  • Business Intelligence - Vehicle and Territory Parc potentials (Spend per Unit in Operation) / Sales penetration / Margin reporting and monitoring.
  • Development of business cases and management of key Aftermarket projects (Parts/Service/Operations)
  • Tender support - coordinate with all relevant departments, to ensure quality and required detail for each tender, so the Commercial Contract team can submit comprehensive submissions in line with or exceeding the customers’ expectations, giving AD the best possible opportunity to retain and win new business.
  • Support Product Development – Managed by Purchasing & Commercial and Ray Murphy, introducing new product with business potential through Group and large customers tenders & opportunities.
  • ‘All Makes’ parts, these allowing customers to freely use this function on AD24 to generate sales.
  • Supporting RSM’s (Parts and Service) with fitted pricing menu pricing, fixed pricing, quotations freeing up their time to do more selling and account management, aligning increasing the collaboration with the Clients Services team to provide ‘best in class service’ to our customers.
  • Co-ordination of the Parts and Service Territory communications and meetings
  • Market & Product Awareness, Competitor Activity & Retail Pricing Management – RSM’s to provide updated market information feedback it back to the relevant teams. Retail pricing to be aligned and agreed with RSM’s being more involved with the process.
  • Commercial & Operations Communication – Any awarded business needs to be advertised around the business so all are aware, this will include data for the planning department to ensure stocks levels are in place to serve the business won. Pricing will need to be added to Syspro with the agreed start and expiry / review dates, trying to roll out the awarded business to win in other areas.
  • Clients Services & Web product promotions – Any promotional / marketing information released should be notified to all to ensure maximum penetration and awareness, ensure relevant departments are involved.
  • KPIs – Measuring our success rate, identifying our weaknesses, contract / business awarded compliance measure. Informing and updating leakages, downward trends using Qlik, having Qlik experts (super users) to guide and maximise its uses to our business. Margin activity and sales trends.

What you will bring:

  • Qualifications to Degree level.
  • Communicative skills in both written, oral and PC
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize critical issues.
  • Effective time management.
  • Trustworthy and credible in face-to-face customer meetings.
  • Confident when presenting to internal and external bodies.
