Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a trusted finance business partner to join our EMEA Sales Finance team. You will report directly to the Finance Director of EMEA Territory Sales and be a close partner to the Senior Director of EMEA Channel Sales. Your role is to support our EMEA Channel organization to grow business and provide insights while adhering to your fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization.

You will have frequent interactions and collaborate with the senior leadership, local sales teams, cross-functional teams, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Participate to the annual business planning cycle for both top line and OPEX
  • Support and drive the evolution of our channel incentive framework, in close collaboration with the global channel office
  • Partner with your channel sales leadership on developing ad hoc partner incentive programmes to propel additional sales
  • Translate sales targets into sales quotas and partner targets
  • Manage the weekly subscriptions and billings forecast process for the EMEA Mature Volume business
  • Present to senior management quarterly results and insights
  • Build Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) decks for sales and finance senior management
  • Perform regular analysis of Volume and the channel business, including evaluating the return on investment of sales promotions and incentives
  • Develop reports that monitor daily, weekly, and quarterly billings performance
  • Collaborate with the broader sales finance community to facilitate and guide the evolution of our reporting tools
  • Review and approve incentive payout for channel partners
  • Monitor the compliance to discount and return policies, evaluating and approving related exceptions
  • Reinforce internal controls with emphasis on the training and communication of revenue recognition policies and government engagement policy
  • Be a fiduciary in the best interest of the company, free of conflicts of interest and with objectivity, integrity, and truthfulness

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (finance, business, or accounting)
  • CPA or MBA is desired but not required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible business & finance experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience providing financial, operational, and administrative support to high tech sales organizations
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Anaplan, Salesforce, and Power BI experience a plus
  • Demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision-making
  • knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a software company.
  • Strong collaboration skills,, business, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams across the globe
