Wika Kawina

I am a strategic advisory, business development and project management professional with over 8 years of experience working across Southern Africa. My career has covered consulting, business development, strategic partnerships, investment facilitation, workforce and talent advisory, project delivery and entrepreneurship.

In my current role with AMSCO Advisory Services, I manage business development and advisory engagements across Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe. I have managed a strategic advisory pipeline valued at approximately USD 2.7 million, achieved 91% of my annual commercial target in 2025, and secured and managed opportunities across the private sector, government and development organisations. My work also includes executive recruitment, compensation benchmarking, workforce advisory and multi-country consulting assignments.

Earlier in my career, I worked in investment facilitation and SME development with Prospero Zambia and Challenges Zambia. I supported initiatives connecting growing businesses with investors and technical assistance, including Impact Capital Africa, which facilitated over USD 50 million in investment into participating enterprises. I have also designed and delivered programmes supporting more than 1,000 SMEs and worked on market-entry and business-growth initiatives across several African markets.

I am also an entrepreneur and founded Wilocate Logistics, which I have grown from a small residential moving business into a corporate relocation company serving institutional and multinational clients. Building the company has given me practical experience in strategy, operations, customer experience, commercial negotiation, team leadership and scaling a business.

I enjoy solving complex business problems, building partnerships, developing new markets and turning ideas into practical solutions. I am particularly interested in global opportunities in strategic advisory, business development, partnerships, programme and project management, business operations, market expansion, workforce strategy and talent intelligence. I am comfortable working across cultures and time zones and am especially interested in organisations where I can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and continue learning in an international environment.
