Tinaye Mutendera
@tinayemutendera
Strategic HR Business Partner with 7+ years in mining and engineering, building workforce plans, governance, and employee relations.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Strategic and commercially aware Human Resources professional with more than seven years of progressive experience across mining and engineering services. I currently lead the HR function for a growing mining-services organisation, partnering with management to translate operating priorities into workforce plans, governance frameworks, and practical people solutions.
I bring broad capability across workforce planning, organisation design support, industrial relations, talent and succession, performance management, and employee engagement. I’m known for combining sound labour-law judgement with operational credibility, stakeholder influence, and disciplined execution in complex, production-driven environments.
I established and lead the HR operating framework for an emerging engineering services business, creating structure across the employee lifecycle and strengthening management accountability. I’ve led more than 20 recruitment assignments and workforce mobilisation activities for technical, supervisory, and support roles.
I designed and coordinated performance, engagement, onboarding and induction, payroll-control, and manager-capability initiatives to improve workforce readiness, consistency, and governance. From my Human Capital Development and HR Officer roles, I’ve built a well-rounded foundation for HR Manager and HR Business Partner responsibilities—especially around HR governance, employee lifecycle controls, and workforce analytics.
