I’ve spent decades teaching and researching agricultural extension, focusing on farmer problems, information dissemination, and technology adoption to improve farming and broader production systems.
At the Federal University of Technology Akure (2018–2022), I coordinated the Department of Agricultural Extension & Communication Technology with 13+ staff and 400+ students, led 40+ projects, and chaired 24+ graduate thesis defence panels—while serving as the university interface with external communities and organizations.
Since 2015, as Professor & Associate Professor, I’ve led and supervised 100+ undergraduate projects, 30 Master Thesis, and 20 PhD Thesis, and I’ve served as an external examiner across multiple universities. I’ve published 70+ articles on farmers’ livelihood, families, rural life, and social innovation, and I’m now exploring music-based learning and new media for innovation adoption and knowledge retention.
