Usman Alfred

I’m a dedicated Animal Science graduate with strong knowledge of agricultural science, livestock management, and feed analysis. I’m committed to helping learners understand scientific and agricultural concepts through clear, engaging teaching.

During my Industrial Training (SIWES) at the Federal University Wukari Teaching and Research Farm in 2024, I strengthened my practical understanding of farm-based work while supporting teaching and research activities.

My research experience includes evaluating anti-nutritional factors, proximate composition, and fiber fraction of rice offal. I conducted laboratory and field-based research, used data analysis tools to interpret results, and simplified findings for easier understanding and presentation.

I’ve also built communication and student engagement skills through soft skills training and Agricultural Extension Training. Beyond academics, I served in student leadership roles such as President and Chairman, supporting stakeholders and strengthening teamwork in the National Association of Animal Science Students (FUW Chapter) and National Association of Agricultural Students (FUW Chapter).
