I'm a senior software engineer and team lead with around six years of experience, currently leading 7 engineers at Better Accounting Solutions on a multi-tenant fintech platform: four Next.js applications in TypeScript over a shared Node and Express API that I designed and built.

Most of my work sits where correctness matters. I built the payments and reconciliation layer running across several ACH processors, where settlement status is reconciled from webhooks, recon files, and polling together because providers drop events. I also built the ingestion pipelines that pull millions of records off eight external CRMs through REST APIs, scrapers, and ETL into one shared validation path, which cut client onboarding time by 70%. Query and index tuning across high-volume financial data cut dashboard load times by 40%.

Before that, I rewrote the MCPETL billing engine at i2c, taking throughput up 5x through query plan analysis, on a platform processing millions of transactions a month for clients including Uber Canada, Payoneer, and CIBC. I also shipped iOS modules in Swift into Direct Express, a consumer banking app with over a million downloads.

On the AI side, I've shipped rather than experimented. I architected a document intelligence pipeline using LlamaCloud, OCR, and LLM extraction that cut processing time by 65% and manual review by 80%, and built Vero, a production agent with 60+ permission-gated tools where users query and update CRM records in plain language. I also wrote the evaluation harness that chose its models, scoring roughly two dozen candidates across six providers on tool sequencing, argument correctness, and safety.

Stack: TypeScript, Node, React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, GCP and AWS. Cursor and Claude Code have been my daily implementation loop for two years.
