What I'm looking for

I seek a role using actuarial modelling and automation to improve reserving, pricing, and IFRS17 implementation, within a collaborative, data-driven team where I can grow technical and domain expertise.

I am an actuary with a First Class Honours degree and seven IFOA exams passed, focused on pragmatic, data-driven actuarial solutions. At Britam General Insurance I calculate reserves, drive IFRS 17 implementation across multiple countries, and produce management and board-level reporting.

I build tools to automate repetitive actuarial workflows — including an internal R package and open-source R packages — which reduced turnaround times for profit testing, experience reviews, and regulatory reporting. I also support pricing, solvency analysis, and yearly budgeting under IFRS 4 and IFRS 17.

I contribute to the actuarial open-source community and maintain a blog about open-source software for actuarial applications, combining technical programming (R, Rust, Git, CI/CD) with domain expertise to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
