What I'm looking for

I seek an entry-level Help Desk role on a collaborative team where I can apply troubleshooting, customer service and networking skills, gain hands-on experience, earn further certifications, and grow into systems or network administration.

I am an IT professional transitioning into a Help Desk role with a BSc in Computing (Networking) and CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. I bring a methodical, customer-focused approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

I am proficient with Windows 10/11, Linux, macOS, Windows Server, VMware/VirtualBox, and core networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and VPN. I regularly provide remote assistance, account setup, password resets, and software installation.

Since 2019 I have volunteered IT support for friends, family, and small businesses, resolving email, printing, and connectivity problems and configuring secure home and small office Wi‑Fi networks. Earlier customer service roles strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to explain technical solutions to nontechnical users.

I am seeking a Help Desk position where I can apply hands-on troubleshooting, continue learning, and contribute to a collaborative IT team. I am eager to take on responsibility, deliver reliable user support, and grow toward systems or network administration roles.
