What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine translation and proofreading with AI-assisted language data work—handling medical/educational content and collaborating in Jira/Confluence while growing my NLP and LLM-focused skills.

I’m a language expert and translator focused on high-quality language data, translation, and proofreading. At Samsung R&D Institute, I handle language expansion and data collection for fr-FR, fr-CA, and de-DE, using AI tools like AIDA and Cline to support data generation and translation.

I also manage collaboration and delivery through Slack, and I report task progress in Confluence and Jira. I monitor CAS2 public tasks—progress, review, and workspeed—for fr-FR and fr-CA, while performing proofreading to maintain quality.

Previously, as a Language Specialist at Wydawnictwo Ze Słownikiem, I proofread specialized educational texts (English and German into Polish) and literary texts for foreign language students in multiple languages. I also teach German online, and I’ve contributed editorial work by transliterating a 1764 Polish-German-French dictionary in LAREX (OCR software) at the Institute of Polish Language, Polish Academy of Sciences.

During my internship at Smith&Nephew, I did MTPE and proofreading of medical texts from English into French in Smartcat, plus HR-document proofreading in French. I also work on subtitles in SubtitleEdit, layout editing and proofreading with Articulate storyline/rise and MS Office tools, and I improve glossaries in French and Polish; earlier roles included data-focused editing for DeepL and tutoring across English, German, and Spanish.
