What I'm looking for
I’m a Health Center Relations Specialist focused on Severe Mental Illness (SMI) clients, prioritizing their needs, providing proper information, and guiding them to the appropriate staff members. I also support care continuity by updating clients’ charts.
In behavioral health client support, I deliver professional customer service and handle incoming calls while ensuring accurate information. I schedule appointments in EMR, check in customers, verify AHCCCS insurance eligibility, and coordinate transportation/interpretation when needed, while staying organized with scanning and record management.
I’ve built strong medical records experience through work like collecting incoming calls, creating new charts in EHR, and completing faxes and scanning. Before that, I gained front-desk and service experience through receptionist/registration responsibilities—providing eligibility information for birth/death certificates, applying Arizona statutes and administrative codes, and verifying valid documents—as well as sales and hospitality work involving inventory preparation, payments, and cash register accuracy.
I’m bilingual and comfortable with basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, and EMR/EHR workflows. I’m open-minded to learn and prosper, and I’m actively seeking occupational growth opportunities to enhance my skill sets and advance my career opportunities.
