I design and facilitate equity-centered learning experiences, curricula, and programs that turn awareness into meaningful action.
What I'm looking for
I design and facilitate learning experiences that help individuals, teams, and organizations translate awareness into meaningful action. Through At The Root, LLC, I create workshops, retreats, curricula, and The Root Process™, an original framework grounded in cultural humility, relational accountability, systems awareness, and transformational learning.
I've partnered with organizations including the YWCA of Greater Portland, Oregon Food Bank, Portland Community College, Portland State University, APANO, IRCO, and Salt & Straw. I manage client relationships and projects from needs assessment through content development, delivery, and follow-up for virtual and in-person groups.
My work also includes leading adult learning as an instructor with Changa Institute and the Academy of Intrinsic Studies, where I support cohort-based learning, curriculum delivery, learner engagement, and inclusive spaces for reflection and practical application. I teach cultural and health equity, trauma-informed care, ethics, facilitator bias, and the impacts of the War on Drugs.
Earlier, I led statewide youth mentorship programs at Campus Compact of Oregon, managing 30+ partnerships, staff development, budgets, reporting, events, and equity-centered program operations. I've also supervised a 15-person remote operations team supporting veteran medical disability examinations and bring hands-on experience in facilitation, program coordination, data reporting, CRM systems, and remote collaboration.
