What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a healthcare organization where I can use my patient access, scheduling, and EHR accuracy skills to improve the day-to-day experience for patients and teams, with clear processes and opportunities to grow into broader medical administrative work.

I’m a Patient Access Specialist who brings a calm, people-first approach to the front door of healthcare—where registration accuracy and clear communication directly shape patient experience. I’m comfortable being the first point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff, and I take pride in handling every interaction with professionalism and compassion.

In my most recent role, I registered patients and maintained accurate demographic, insurance, and medical information in electronic health records, while verifying insurance eligibility and collecting required documentation to support the revenue cycle process. I also handled check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling, ensuring the integrity of patient registration and access workflows so care could move forward smoothly.

Before that, I developed strong customer-facing and support skills across healthcare-adjacent and service environments, including resident care and dining operations. As a Resident Care Aid, I supported daily living needs, monitored and recorded vital signs, maintained safe and clean environments, and responded to emergencies by following established protocols.

I’ve also built leadership and empathy through Resident Assistant and teaching experience, where I created safe, inclusive environments, supported others through difficult situations, and maintained clear documentation. Whether I’m coordinating schedules, resolving questions, or supporting a team, I aim to bring accuracy, respect, and reliability to every task.
