I’m a multilingual freelance translator with practical experience supporting refugee communities and bridging communication gaps in humanitarian settings. Fluent in Somali, Swahili, and English—and conversational in Arabic and French—I bring cultural sensitivity and adaptability to every project.

Previously, as a Language Mediator at Dadaab Refugee Camp (UNHCR & local NGO), I served as a communication link between Somali refugees and UNHCR teams, providing interpretation during interviews, documentation, and emergency communications.
