I am a Registered Nurse, Certified Professional Coder, and Certified Medical Virtual Assistant. Coding and virtual assistance are where I have built my career, and both come naturally from my clinical background.
As a Medical Virtual Assistant, I handle patient scheduling, insurance verification, medical scribing, EMR and EHR management, and chart review for busy practices. I hold HIPAA Compliance Training and a Certified Medical Assistant credential, and I take the handling of protected health information seriously.
On the coding side, I translate provider documentation into accurate ICD 10 CM and CPT codes. I check that every code is supported by the note, watch for bundling issues before a claim goes out, and avoid unspecified codes when the chart supports something more precise. My nursing training means I actually understand the clinical picture I am coding, not just matching keywords.
I am currently looking for remote opportunities in medical coding and medical virtual assistance with providers, clinics, or practices that need someone who can handle both the clinical and administrative sides with precision.
