Garret Scheckla

I’m an Area Manager at Planet Fitness, overseeing multiple clubs within a designated area. I ensure each club reflects the PF brand, culture, and values while achieving desired financial results.

I manage diverse operations remotely—supporting and guiding club leadership, setting standards and objectives, optimizing operations, and leading a team of club managers. I handle sound financial management, compliance with company policies, creative problem-solving, and performance evaluation using key metrics, while communicating updates to senior executives.

Earlier, I built strong communication and community-focused skills through roles including a Communications and Marketing Intern at Susan G. Komen of Oregon & SW Washington and Head Exercise & Swim Instructor at City of Corvallis’s Osborn Aquatic Center. I wrote and edited press releases and PSA’s, conducted interviews, and developed social content—then applied health and accessibility-focused instruction, scheduling, attendance enforcement, and onboarding.

I bring a track record of empowering teams and raising standards through the “Raving Fans” approach and active coaching. With certifications including COVID-19 Contact Tracing, Health Club & Gym Management, and CPR/First-Aid/AED, I bring readiness, responsibility, and a people-first mindset to every operation and program.
