I'm looking for a role in a tech-based company, from SaaS to Web Services, where I can be part of the decision-making and strategy process. I'm also open to consulting and time-based projects where high-impact value must be delivered in a short timeframe. I like to work on complex projects that incorporate different sources of data to deliver innovative results.

Hi, I'm Fernando Schuh, a skilled Product and UX Designer, based in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Over the last 20 years, I've been partnering on diverse projects, and delivering valuable solutions for companies ranging from big names to young startups.

To me, design isn't just about making things look appealing—it's about combining beauty with utility and incorporating strategy into every design decision. It's about genuinely improving users' lives while also driving business growth.

Some of my achievements include:

Designed the end-to-end user experience for Best Buy's Monthly Subscriptions program;
Coordinated and executed research and feedback analysis on Best Buy Monthly Subscriptions, uncovering insights that improved the customer and employee experience, increasing program adoption and revenue;
Increased order pickup rates for Best Buy by adding SMS alerts to the purchase flow;
Streamlined Best Buy's Mobile Phones and Plans purchase flow, increasing sales;
Designed a field services SaaS platform that was acquired by a software company;
Utilized data analysis and research to design a predictive energy purchase web platform, reducing energy costs for clients;
Designed and implemented WINN, a retail loyalty SaaS platform;
Developed an EAD for a banking client, increasing employee awareness of banking processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency;
Designed the 2004 Brasil.gov website, resulting in a significant increase in online services access and substantial cost savings.
