What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fully remote role at the intersection of AI, innovation, product and digital transformation. I enjoy combining strategy with hands-on experimentation, turning ideas into practical solutions. I value autonomy, international collaboration and curious, pragmatic teams. Ideally remote from the Netherlands or Portugal.

I’m an innovation and transformation professional with 15+ years of experience working at the intersection of technology, strategy, product and organisational change. My career has included product and project management, innovation consulting, digital transformation, policy advisory and programme leadership across public, educational and commercial organisations. Earlier roles included product and innovation work at Kennisnet, consulting at IT Workz, digital learning at TU Delft and innovation leadership at ROC Mondriaan and Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam.

Today, I work at SURF, the Dutch cooperative for research and education, where I lead innovation projects focused on AI, data, digital learning environments and the future of learning. A recurring theme throughout my career has been translating emerging technologies into practical strategies, experiments, products and new ways of working.

I’m especially interested in generative AI and how it changes the way organizations innovate. I use AI hands-on for research, ideation, prototyping, storytelling and development, and I enjoy turning ambiguous ideas into tangible tools and experiences that people can test and use.

One of my key strengths is connecting strategy with execution. I’m comfortable working with senior stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams and technical specialists, and I enjoy identifying opportunities, structuring complex problems, facilitating collaboration and helping organizations move from exploration to implementation and adoption.

I have also designed and led organisation-wide innovation programmes, worked extensively with change management and strategic foresight, and regularly facilitate workshops and presentations. My professional development includes Innovation Governance and futures-focused AI training.

I’m particularly interested in remote international roles in AI strategy, innovation, product operations, digital transformation, strategic foresight and emerging technology. I’m looking for a role where I can combine strategic thinking with hands-on experimentation and help organizations turn technological change into practical value.
