What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior development/fundraising role where I can lead strategic reviews, build ROI- and audit-driven systems, and grow income through major donors, trusts, legacy, and corporate partnerships—while mentoring teams and maximizing measurable impact.

I’m a senior development and fundraising professional with nearly 30 years of senior management responsibility across charity and private sectors. Over 20 years, I’ve led fundraising strategy, trust and legacy programmes, and major donor and corporate partnerships—always focused on sustainable income and measurable impact.

Most recently, as Senior Development Manager at Ark Schools (Dec 2023–Mar 2025), I instituted a strategic review of fundraising, implemented new auditing and ROI review systems, and built processes to track income with the finance department. I restructured income management and developed a three-year fundraising strategic plan, including strengthening direct schools fundraising income through a review and communications programme.

Earlier roles include overhauling major donor fundraising operations as Senior Relationship Manager for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, launching the charity’s first legacy appeals programme, and securing major funding. I’ve also delivered brand and partnership programmes at scale—building consortia, negotiating high-profile partnerships, and leading communications and media relations to generate significant press coverage and fundraising outcomes.
