I’m reliable and motivated, with over five years of experience in a fast paced environment. I’m skilled in customer service, cash handling, and operations, and I’ve progressed into a Duty Manager role that highlights leadership, responsibility, and strong problem solving abilities.

Since joining Wickes Hardware as a Retail Assistant / Duty Manager, I’ve delivered excellent shop floor service, handled cash transactions and card payments accurately, and maintained till operations. I’ve also managed online orders and coordinated deliveries to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction, including processing refunds and exchanges in line with company policies.

In my day-to-day leadership, I independently managed opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and store security. I provided on the job training and support to new employees, monitored staff performance, and led and motivated team members during shifts to maintain high performance and achieve sales targets and KPIs.

I’m confident in handling high pressure situations while maintaining an excellent service standard. I resolve customer queries and complaints professionally, support stock control and minimising losses, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed by all staff—especially when unexpected issues like staff shortages or delivery delays occur.
