What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build scalable backend and cloud-native systems, improve data pipelines and performance, mentor developers, and collaborate effectively with async, fully remote teams.

I've built and optimized Java backend systems for FPT and Taller Technologies, delivering Kubernetes-based microservices, event-driven integrations, and intelligent search capabilities. At FPT, I reduced recommendation-engine response latency by 40% through data-pipeline integration.

I've worked across AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas, Solr, Hadoop, and Terraform to improve performance, caching, resource usage, and service reliability. I also migrated business logic into stored procedures and supported image-recognition capabilities using AWS SageMaker.

Earlier, I modernized monolithic processes into microservices at Snap Finance, migrated legacy systems to IDC real-time processing platforms at GFT Costa Rica, and designed IBM Watson Explorer query-language and JDBC-driver capabilities at IBM.

With more than 26 years in software development, I enjoy mentoring developers, reviewing architecture, and collaborating asynchronously with remote teams across time zones.
